Raise awareness on 3rd September

Each year, European Prostate Cancer Awareness Day (EPAD) aims to raise awareness, understanding and knowledge of prostate cancer detection and management. It brings together key policy makers, scientific associations and European patient groups in an effort to improve early detection, and chart the way to more effective, holistic and personalised care for patients.

In 2025  EPAD will be held on 3rd September, when policy makers, researchers, scientists, health professionals, researchers and European patient groups will gather in the European Parliament in Brussels at an event to mark the day. Among those attending will be representatives of Europa Uomo member organisations who taking part in the Europa Uomo Summer School in Brussels from 31st August to 5th September.

How you can be involved

  1. Men with experience of prostate cancer are welcome to the come to the event at the European Parliament on 3rd September. Please contact Europa Uomo for more information and to register your interest info@europa_uomo.org
  2. Organise your own activities to raise awareness of prostate cancer, and join activities being organised by your local or national prostate cancer patient organisation. You can find a list of national associations on our members' page.
