In a new article in The Lancet, researchers from Leiden University Medical Center in the Netherlands have provided a systematic review of health related quality of life publications of phase III randomised controlled trials in metastatic hormone-sensitive prostate cancer. Pesticides and prostate cancer
In this American study, the authors investigated the potential role of agricultural pesticide exposure in prostate cancer incidence and mortality. The results suggest a potential link between certain pesticides and increased prostate cancer .

Australian urologists have created a short film using AI to raise awareness about prostate cancer and encourage men to have vital conversations with their doctors about PSA screening. The film is designed to break down myths and inspire informed decision-making about prostate cancer testing.

The European Association of Urology has issued a podcast on “Prostate cancer indication for biopsy and screening”, where urologist Roderick van den Bergh and Europa Uomo’s Vice Chairman Erik Briers discuss the dynamics of prostate cancer diagnostics, and the latest advances in screening methods, including the updates to diagnostic algorithms that are reshaping clinical practice.

Let’s Talk Prostate Cancer (LTPC) will kick off its work in the new European Parliament with a special event aiming to ensure that men’s health remains a priority year-round and shine a spotlight on prostate cancer. With the inauguration of the new European Commission, LTPC sees a unique opportunity to raise awareness and drive action.
