EU-ProPER survey closes at the end of December 2023

We have reached the landmark of over 1.000 surveys completed in our EU-ProPER research study of partners of men with prostate cancer, and the number continues to quietly rise.

The survey will close at the end of December 2023. May we count on all our members, contacts and readers to continue to promote the survey to your networks and contacts? Europa Uomo would be very grateful.

The EU-ProPER study centres around an online survey for spouses, partners and caregivers, asking simple questions about how their partner’s prostate cancer has affected them. The survey is available in 17 languages.

How can cancer patients enjoy the Christmas celebrations?

At the 2024 Europa Uomo General Assembly, our members will vote on the application of ELLOK (the Helenic Cancer Federation) to become an associate member of Europa Uomo.

In order to provide as much support as possible to cancer patients, ELLOK collaborated in creating a guide with suggestions for entertainment and recreation during the holidays, specifically tailored for patients undergoing oncological treatment.

You may find the guide in English through the following link: https://ellok.org/imerides_ekstraties/christmas_ideas-eng/

Europa Uomo wishes you a holiday season filled with joy and light

  • Coordinate a European approach to inter-specialty cancer training
  • Develop and deliver an inter-specialty cancer training curriculum
  • Deploy inter-specialty cancer training in cancer centres
